Spinach and Cheddar Quiche


  • 7 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 4 cups spinach raw
  • 1 ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the eggs, heavy whipping cream, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste in a mixing bowl, and whisk until foamy.
  3. Add 1 cup of the shredded cheese to the mixing bowl, and stir to combine.
  4. Heat the butter in an oven-proof skillet over medium heat on the stove.
  5. Add the garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
  6. Place the spinach in the skillet, and saute until wilted.
  7. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, and top with the remaining ½ cup of cheese.
  8. Place the skillet into the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked through.
